- Self-proclaimed "The Sometimes Purist", I've {finally} come to realize how important is to take care of your body - from the inside, and out. This past year I made the conscience! decision to cut sugar, processed foods and high glycemic foods from my diet. Who would have thought that you'd feel better by eating better fuel for your body?! Duh. So one obsession lead to another. I'm a voracious reader; which can be my downfall, too. My skincare obsession started with my great friend, Kristan, who introduced me to Shea Butter. What a powerhouse, full of vitamins for your skin! So I researched Shea. And then my newest obsession was born: creating natural lotions, soaps, body-washes and serums for the largest organ - our skin! Seriously, have you read what's in the products at the stores? Not good, my friends. Not good at all. Now, I may not always buy 100% natural, and I might sneak a cookie here and there. OK, maybe 3-4 cookies. Hence, the name "The Sometimes Purist" - but this is my start on a journey about recovering my health from the inside - out. Join me? I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
